- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme

Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping the garlic and onion.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then sear until golden brown on both sides (about 5 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until translucent (about 3–4 minutes).
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup and chicken broth until well combined.
- Return chicken to the skillet, cover, and simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes until cooked through.
- Cook the long-grain white rice according to package instructions while the chicken simmers.
- Serve smothered chicken over fluffy rice and enjoy!
