  • 3 pounds pork shoulder
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup dill pickles, sliced

Instructions

  1. Trim excess fat from the pork shoulder and cut it into large chunks. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, mix minced garlic, orange juice, cumin, and additional desired spices. Pour over the pork in the slow cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until tender.
  4. Shred the cooked pork using two forks.
  5. Slice slider buns in half and layer shredded pork on each bottom half. Top with Swiss cheese and pickles before placing on the tops of the buns.
  6. Return assembled sliders to the slow cooker on warm for about 10 minutes to melt the cheese.
