- 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

Instructions
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté the finely chopped onion until soft and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flaked salmon, sautéed onions, breadcrumbs, eggs, herbs, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mash until well blended but still chunky.
- Form the mixture into small patties (about 2-3 inches wide) and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Fry each patty for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels before serving.
