- 8 ounces fusilli pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, add olive oil. Once shimmering, add diced chicken seasoned with salt and pepper. Sauté until golden brown and cooked through.
- Stir in minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot.
- Add fusilli pasta along with heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring often.
- Once boiling, reduce heat to low and cover. Cook for 12-15 minutes or until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in freshly grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Adjust seasoning if necessary before serving warm.
