Instructions

  3. In another bowl, beat softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy (3-4 minutes).
  4. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients until just mixed; avoid overmixing.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized dollops onto prepared sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until set but soft.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
