- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups broccoli florets

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente, approximately 8 minutes. Add the broccoli florets during the last two minutes of cooking.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for about one minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
- Drain pasta and broccoli, reserving half a cup of pasta water. Add them back to the pot.
- Pour heavy cream into the skillet with shrimp and garlic; simmer for three minutes until thickened. Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Combine the pasta and broccoli with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired creaminess.
- Serve immediately with extra Parmesan if desired.
