Description

Chocolate Hazelnut Pie is a decadent dessert that combines rich chocolate with crunchy hazelnuts, creating a blissful experience for any gathering. Each slice promises to delight!

Ingredients

Scale
  • Chocolate crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • 150g toasted hazelnuts
  • 240ml heavy cream
  • 180g Nutella
  • 100g granulated sugar
  • 115g unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 3 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your pie crust: place a store-bought crust in a dish or mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter for a homemade option.
  2. Bake the crust for 10 minutes until golden and fragrant. Let it cool completely.
  3. Melt dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or microwave until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk heavy cream with Nutella until silky, then add melted chocolate.
  5. Incorporate eggs one at a time, whisking until fully combined. Gently fold in chopped toasted hazelnuts.
  6. Pour the filling into the cooled crust and smooth it out evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
  7. Allow the pie to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
