- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pound the chicken breasts to about half an inch thick for even cooking.
- In one bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with salt and pepper. In another bowl, beat one egg.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg and then coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spoon marinara sauce over each piece and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before garnishing with fresh basil leaves. Serve hot with extra marinara on the side.
