- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente (about 8 minutes); drain and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté chicken until golden brown and cooked through (about 6 minutes per side). Remove and let rest before dicing.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer while stirring continuously. Slowly add Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth to create your Alfredo sauce.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked fettuccine, diced chicken, and Alfredo sauce; mix gently but thoroughly. Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with extra cheese if desired, and bake for 25 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
