Hearty Beef-Stuffed Pasta Shells are a delightful comfort food, combining savory beef and melty cheese in tender pasta for a satisfying family meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 large pasta shells
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (divided)
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot, add pasta shells, and cook until al dente (approximately 9 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions until translucent (about 5 minutes). Add garlic; cook for an additional minute.
  4. Stir in ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (7–10 minutes). Remove from heat.
  5. Mix half of the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning into the meat mixture.
  6. Generously stuff each shell with the beef filling and place in a greased baking dish.
  7. Pour remaining marinara sauce over the shells, then top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until bubbly.
