Description

Steak Cobb Salad is a colorful and satisfying dish featuring tender grilled steak, fresh greens, creamy avocado, and a zesty homemade dressing. Perfect for a hearty lunch or dinner!


Ingredients

    • 6 cups romaine lettuce, washed and chopped

    • 1 lb grilled steak (ribeye or sirloin), seasoned & sliced

    • 4 slices crispy bacon, crumbled

    • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

    • 1 large avocado, cubed

    • ½ cup blue cheese crumbles

    • ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced

For the Dressing:
    • 3 tbsp olive oil

    • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

    • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

    • ½ tsp salt

    • ¼ tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Wash and tear romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Halve cherry tomatoes and cube the avocado.
  2. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy (5-7 minutes). Drain on paper towels and crumble once cooled.
  3. Season steak with salt and pepper; grill on medium-high heat for 4-6 minutes per side. Let it rest before slicing.
  4. Whisk together lemon juice, Dijon mustard, olive oil, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  5. In a large bowl, combine lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, bacon, blue cheese, red onion, and sliced steak.
  6. Drizzle dressing over the salad and toss gently. Serve immediately for maximum freshness.

Steak Doneness: For medium-rare, cook steak to 130-135°F (54-57°C); for medium, aim for 140-145°F (60-63°C).
Bacon Alternative: Try turkey bacon or crispy pancetta for a variation.
